British Troops To Leave Iraq

One of the United States key allies for the war in Iraq has announced its troops will pull out by May 31, 2009. Britain has been a major supporter for the war not only in terms of troop levels but on the world stage.  With the Iraq war very unpopular in the UK and Britain the remaining 4000 troops will leave by the May 31 deadline. Its expected that US troops will take over bases that are currently occupied by British forces.
