Coming out of Hillary’s speech today was, like always, many unanswered questions. Does Hillary still have an agenda at the convention? Does Hillary have any plans after today, or will she go back to campaigning for senator? Will Hillary be your Democratic Vice Presidential candidate? Ok, you get the point. These questions are never ending though. You can come up with questions all day long, but the main question will just end up being–where do we go from here?
Hillary has always been behind her campaign 100%. She has been the more sincere canidate, and she has been the more polished candidate. Nothing can change that. I respect Hillary’s choice not to fight the big boys in the Democratic Party. She needs her reputation in tact, just like any other politician. I personally believe that Hillary could have won the battle on the convention floor, and she still can. In Hillary’s position now it will be hard for her to battle at the convention. She has now suspended her campaign, endorsed Obama, and promised to stump for him. Try arguing your point in the convention when for the last 2 months you did nothing but advocate the guy your saying is weak.
I, in my personal opinion, think Hillary will begin her run for Madame President in 2012. Her best case scenario is to go out and hope that Obama does not choose her as VP, when she pushes for it, then loses the general. That way she can claim that she was the stronger candidate, and now you should nominate her in 2012. Even if that falls through for her, she can always be Gov. Clinton of New York in 2010. Good luck Senator Clinton, we love you, stay strong, and god speed.
I will now begin moving forward, we can now safely assume Hillary is done. This is why I am moving in the direction of donating and campaigning for John McCain Senator of Arizona. I believe he is the lesser of two evils, which normally prevails on my ballot. McCain has a strong national security background and he will be great for this country. I am going to formally endorse Senator McCain at this time. As an issue of national security, at all costs we must keep Obama from entering the white house. This is our country and we want it back! The only way to get it back is to elect McCain so our country can be secure. In 2012 we can elect the first female President Hillary Rodham Clinton.
