A Party divided
The media is trying to downplay just how divided we stand going into August. I wasn to send a message to Obama though, if gathering the Clinton supporters will be an easy task–then why are you quickly moving in a direction to distinguish who John McCain is? Your supporters obviously don’t need him labeled, and most independents have already made up their minds. The only real core constituency left is the Clinton supporters. In my estimates, roughly 40% of Clinton supporters are going to vote for McCain, about 30% will vote Democrat no matter what, and 30% are still undecided. That probably means that this will lean in John McCain’s favor. In fact, McCain has already started campaigning for the Clinton supporters– setting up websites, running ads, and being nice to the supporters of Clinton.
In my opinion, it is likely that McCain will win this election season. Hillary is pretty much done, and Obama is struggling with members of the party who have been lifelong Democrats. This has been the whackiest primary season ever and it wouldn’t surprise me if the  election was just the same.

No worries. That party is already coming together and people are healing. The handful of crazies who will vote for McCain because Hillary didn’t win, probably would not be able to find their way to their polling places in the fall anyway. Lord knows they can’t count.
